At your next visit to our sperm bank, you are going to be interviewed. Here are a couple of things to consider and keep in mind.
Before the interview, please consider if you would like to be an open donor or a non-contact donor.
As an open donor, you agree to one point of contact with any child that may be the result of your donation, when this child has turned 18. Most times, the child just wants to know a bit about you, tell you about them, or simply say hello.
As a non-contact donor, it is not possible for a potential child to contact you.
In both cases, no parent will ever obtain your contact information. Further, you will not have any legal or parental obligations towards potential children and vice versa.
To achieve the best result of your sperm sample, please keep the following in mind:
You should not ejaculate less than 48 hours prior to the sample.
Get all the sperm in the cup – especially the first drops contain a high number of cells.
Bring ID – preferably your passport.
THE NEXT STEP
If your sample is approved, you will be called in for an interview, a health check and a counseling session – and then you’re an approved donor.
European Sperm Bank is located in Holborn, London.
